Codex Desktop runtime agent panel is mispositioned on external monitor
What happened?
When using Codex Desktop on an external monitor, the runtime agent/progress display is laid out incorrectly. The right-side runtime panel appears offset from the main content area and does not line up cleanly with the app layout, making the running agent state harder to read while a task is executing.
This is reproducible in a dual-display setup with the built-in MacBook display plus an external 5K monitor.
Steps to reproduce
- Connect an external monitor to a MacBook Pro.
- Keep display mirroring disabled.
- Move/open Codex Desktop on the external monitor.
- Start an agent task and let it run commands.
- Observe the runtime agent/progress display while the task is running.
Expected behavior
The runtime agent/progress panel should remain aligned with the Codex Desktop layout, stay fully readable, and avoid overlapping or appearing detached from the main content area on external displays.
Actual behavior
On the external monitor, the runtime agent/progress display appears visually mispositioned/offset relative to the rest of the app. The issue is noticeable while the agent is running and the progress/status panel is visible.
Environment

Notes
A screenshot was captured locally showing the mispositioned runtime panel. I am not attaching it here because it includes workspace/task content; I can provide a redacted screenshot if helpful.
This may be related to external-display scaling/layout handling, but it affects the runtime agent/progress UI rather than a specific project.
