Feature Request: Add a usage bar for Codex app limits

Summary

Please add a usage bar or quota status panel in the Codex desktop app that shows the user's current Codex usage against both the 5-hour limit window and the weekly limit.

Motivation

Right now, it is difficult to know how much Codex capacity remains before hitting a limit. Users have to infer this from failures, warnings, or account-level information elsewhere. A clear in-app usage indicator would make it easier to plan longer work sessions, avoid unexpected interruptions, and understand when usage will become available again.

Requested behavior

  • Show current usage for the rolling 5-hour limit window.
  • Show current usage for the weekly limit.
  • Show when each limit resets or when capacity is expected to become available again.
  • Make the information visible from the main Codex app UI, such as a small usage bar, account menu item, or status panel.
  • Optionally provide a warning state when usage is close to either limit.

Why this would help

This would give users better transparency into rate limits and quota consumption directly inside the app, especially during extended coding sessions where reaching a limit can interrupt active work.
