Codex CLI 在对话中会直接展示文件的内联 diff（带 +/- 行），能清楚看到具体增删了什么内容。但 Codex Desktop 不会——它只告诉你"编辑了某个文件"，只有一个文件名，看不到任何具体改动。而且没有任何开关或设置项可以改变这个行为。
这导致桌面端在代码审查场景下几乎不可用——每次都得手动 git diff 或者点开文件逐行对比，完全丧失了集成工作流的优势。

期望

Problem description
Codex CLI displays inline file diffs directly in the conversation, including
+/-lines, making it easy to see exactly what was added or removed. Codex Desktop does not. It only tells you that a file was edited and shows the filename, without displaying any of the actual changes. There is also no toggle or setting to change this behavior.This makes the Desktop app nearly unusable for code review scenarios. Every time, I have to manually run
git diffor open the file and compare it line by line, which completely defeats the purpose of an integrated workflow.Comparison example

Not sure if this is the same, but in the NEW ChatGPT app (not the Classic), I gave a feedback:
In Settings, Appearance, before Diff Markers, please add an option to choose Diff Style because I don't like side-by-side diff and I highly prefer inline diff. I hope this can be changed here in the Appearance Settings (and the preview at the top of the Appearance page updates accordingly too).
