Error running remote compact task: stream disconnected before completion: error sending request for url (https://chatgpt.com/backend-api/codex/responses/compact)
Can't continue my project without opening new dialogue.

Because the Microsoft Store version is still using the broken 133 CLI build.
And you can’t roll back the version through the Microsoft Store.

Same ! Here's a trick: just switch to gpt-4mini low and send a random message to get it to compress. Once it's done, just switch back to gpt-5.5.

if you set a goal before, then it would try compact and fail infinitely, which will exhaust your 5 hour limit. That sucks.
