Codex timing out

Hello,

I have a NAS that holds all my code that I was working on with Claude, and I tried to do some work in Codex and it doesnt respond to any messages. I am working out of the desktop app but when I point to the mounted folder, I asked simple questions like what folder structures do I have or anything and it just gives me an error that the request could not be processed. I had tried to do a large task and it ran for 4 hours and did nothing so I cancelled that and now every message in new chats to that folder just error out. I uninstalled and reinstalled and still nothing works. I cannot use codex period.
