Codex desktop thread listed in Work Trees is missing from left project sidebar

Summary

A Codex desktop app thread can be opened from Settings > Work Trees, but the same thread does not appear in the left sidebar under its project.

Environment

• App: Codex desktop app
• OS: Windows

Steps to reproduce

1. Open the Codex desktop app on Windows.
2. Open or create a project-backed Codex thread.
3. Confirm the thread is listed under Settings > Work Trees for that project/worktree.
4. Return to the main app view.
5. Check the left sidebar under the corresponding project.

Expected result

The thread shown in Settings > Work Trees should also appear under the matching project in the left sidebar.

Actual result

The thread is visible and openable from Settings > Work Trees, but it is missing from the left project sidebar. Other threads for the same project may still appear there.

Impact

The thread is still accessible, but normal project navigation makes it look like the conversation was lost.

Notes

This was observed with a local worktree-backed project. I am omitting local paths, project names, screenshots, and thread titles from this public report to avoid exposing private workspace metadata.
