What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

26.527.31326

What subscription do you have?

Plus

What platform is your computer?

Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.26200.0 x64

What issue are you seeing?

when i open a new chat it creates projects under %userprofile%\Documents\Codex\... on c: drive, but there is no Documents folder there. Documents lives on d: and the my documents setting is pointing to d:\documents

I have spent time w codex trying to resolve and it told me to submit it as a bug.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Feedback ID: 019e764c-4687-7993-a9e8-c11aa0d5a7ad

Open a new chat without explicitly directing it to use a location. ask it to getlocation and it shows that it created a 'Documents' folder under %userprofile% and then made a subfolder for project.

What is the expected behavior?

codex follows what windows tells it to use. My documents points to d:\documents, so codex should only/ever work under d:\documents\Codex unless explicitly told to work elsewhere in the filesystem.
