What issue are you seeing?

codex desktop cannot open ,change .codex or used reset or repair for window app that also have no effect.and I find dmp in AppData\Roaming\Codex\web\Codex\Crashpad\reports.Used winDbg is show follows log:

You can check whether your system has this environment variable set:
NODE_OPTIONS=--openssl-legacy-provider
If it exists, try deleting it and then see if Codex launches normally.

Thank you! This fixed the issue for me.

I had NODE_OPTIONS=--openssl-legacy-provider set in my Windows environment variables. After removing it and restarting the terminal/system session, Codex Desktop launches normally again.

For context, my Codex app was crashing immediately on startup with a Crashpad dump and chrome.dll / 0xC0000005. Removing this environment variable resolved it.
