I built a Tauri GUI app for codex cli, I found that it's difficult to manage sessions by project.

I've changed the title to focus this issue on project-based sessions.
I'm not sure what you're looking for in terms of an "easier streaming API". We've made significant changes to the "app server" APIs in the CLI since you filed this, so perhaps this is already addressed. If you would like to see something different, please open a new enhancement request with additional details.
