Pasting .tex text freezes the app

What issue are you seeing?

When trying to past latex content from a .tex file into the codex chat box the app freezes.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

1. open a .tex file
2. copy some random text (possibly with math)
3. paste into the codex chat

What is the expected behavior?

Additional information

Interestingly, if I do the same from my iPhone, it works (i.e. the ChatGPT app on my iPhone doesn't freezes and neither does the codex app on my Mac).

In that case replication is:

1. open a .tex file on the Mac
2. copy some random text (possibly with math)
3. open Chatgpt app on the iPhone
4. go to codex inside the phone app
5. paste the .tex content in the codex chat (still in the phone app)
6. enter
