configurable /compact modes with user-selected retention priorities

What variant of Codex are you using?

APP,Web

What feature would you like to see?

I would like Codex to support configurable /compact modes.
Current /compact behavior seems like a generic summarization step. For long-running sessions, compaction is not only about saving tokens; it is also a key mechanism for preserving task continuity. Different workflows need different retention priorities. The goal is to make /compact a user-controlled continuity tool rather than an opaque automatic summary. Users often know which information should matter most before a long session is compressed.
