Go to Settings -> Personalization -> Custom Instructions

Your WSL ~/.codex/AGENTS.md is there

Is this as simple as setting CODEX_HOME inside the app to ~/.codex/ instead of /mnt/c/Users/USERNAME/.codex? This is clearly the right default in WSL mode.

I hacked my CODEX_HOME to point to my wsl folder to work around this. Unsure if it's fixed or not but closing
