codex didn't remember anything after /compact like /new

I just had the same issue with codex 0.38.0. 0% context free, I used /compact and suddenly had 100% context free and codex forgot what we were doing. I am on Windows.
We've made a number of improvements to
/compactin recent versions. I suspect this issue is no longer relevant, so I'm going to close it. If you're still seeing issues, please let us know, and I'll re-open the issue.
