Hi, I’m trying to set up Codex mobile remote access from my phone to my Windows Codex desktop app, but the setup fails every time.

Error shown on phone:
“Setup failed. Couldn’t finish secure setup. Try again.”

Details:

• Phone ChatGPT app was freshly reinstalled today.
• I can see Codex in the ChatGPT mobile app before scanning the QR code.
• Desktop Codex is installed on Windows and shows my project locally.
• Desktop host name: DESKTOP-AS78EFJ
• Desktop and phone are signed in with the same Google/OpenAI account.
• I do not see any projects on mobile because pairing never completes.
• I have tried updating/reinstalling the mobile app and retrying the QR setup.
• Desktop-side remote enrollment appears to exist, but the phone still fails during secure setup.

Can you check whether there is an account-side, secure setup, passkey/MFA, workspace, or remote-control permission issue preventing Codex mobile pairing from completing?
