VS code Codex extension loses sync / detaches from Android mobile codex app chat session

What issue are you seeing?

Working with VS code codex and android mobile Codex app in the same chat, the desktop session 'detaches'

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Start a working session in VS code / Codex.

Pick up the conversation on Android with the Codex app.

Back at desktop, the chat does not reflect the latest being shown on the phone app. It requires a restart of VS code to see the updated chat contents.

What is the expected behavior?

Would like to see the chat thread remain connected, up to date, and consistent between Codex extension in VS code and the mobile app.
