macOS: Automatic updates unavailable because Sparkle.framework is missing Versions/B/Sparkle

What issue are you seeing?

After installing the latest Codex macOS app from the official Codex download page, Codex shows this dialog on launch / update check:

Automatic updates are unavailable right now.
Updater initialization skipped: failed to load native sparkle addon.

The app otherwise launches, but automatic updates are unavailable.

Evidence from the Codex desktop logs:

Failed to load native Sparkle addon errorCode=ERR_DLOPEN_FAILED
Library not loaded: @rpath/Sparkle.framework/Versions/B/Sparkle
Referenced from: /Applications/Codex.app/Contents/Resources/native/sparkle.node
Reason: tried: /Applications/Codex.app/Contents/Resources/native/../../Frameworks/Sparkle.framework/Versions/B/Sparkle (no such file)
