What issue are you seeing?

I am experiencing this issue between two Macs.

After revoking one Mac from the "Control Other Devices" section on another Mac, I tried to add it again. However, the Mac now appears as a failed connection, and I receive the following error message:

"Failed to update connections."

As a result, I am unable to reconnect or manage the device properly.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

  1. On a Mac, open the "Control Other Devices" section.
  2. Revoke/remove another Mac that was previously connected.
  3. Attempt to add the same Mac again.
  4. The Mac appears as a failed connection.
  5. An error message is displayed: "Failed to update connections."

What is the expected behavior?

After revoking a Mac, I should be able to add and reconnect the same Mac again successfully. The connection should be updated without errors, and the device should appear in the "Devices That Can Control This Mac" list as an active, connected device.

This behavior is expected when connecting one Mac to another Mac.
