Profile Token activity does not refresh today's usage while Codex is actively used

Summary

The Profile → Token activity daily heatmap does not appear to refresh today's token usage in a timely way.

I noticed that when hovering over today's activity square, the tooltip continued to show the same token usage value from several hours earlier, even though I had been actively using Codex during those hours.

Observed behavior

• Open Codex Desktop.
• Go to Settings → Profile.
• Hover over today's square in Token activity.
• The tooltip shows today's token usage.
• After using Codex continuously for several more hours, the displayed value remains unchanged or appears stale.

This makes the Token activity chart look delayed or not synced with actual current usage.

Expected behavior

The Token activity page should refresh today's usage in a reasonably timely way while Codex is being used.

At minimum, it should update when:

• the Profile page is opened,
• the user switches away and returns to the Profile page,
• the app is restarted,
• a reasonable background refresh interval passes,
• or the user manually refreshes/reopens the view.

Actual behavior

Today's displayed token usage can remain stuck at an older value for hours, even while Codex continues to be used actively.

Why this matters

The Profile page is the main place users can check their Codex token/activity history. If today's Token activity value is stale, users cannot accurately understand their current usage, daily activity, or whether the profile statistics are up to date.

This is especially confusing for heavy Codex users who monitor daily usage and expect the chart to reflect recent activity.

Request

Please improve the refresh/sync behavior for Profile → Token activity so that today's token usage updates reliably after continued Codex usage. If the chart is intentionally delayed or batched, the UI should make that clear, for example by showing a last-updated timestamp or a manual refresh option.
