Feature request: Official Timeline / Conversation Navigator for Codex

I would like Codex to add an official Timeline or Conversation Navigator feature.

In long Codex threads, it becomes difficult to quickly return to an earlier question, decision, file change, command output, generated artifact, or debugging step. A timeline-style sidebar would greatly improve navigation and make long-running work much easier to manage.

Suggested capabilities:

  1. A timeline view inside each thread.
  2. A global timeline across all Codex threads.
  3. Filters for user prompts, Codex summaries, file changes, command executions, errors, generated artifacts, and key decisions.
  4. Auto-generated short titles for important stages.
  5. Click-to-jump navigation back to the exact turn or message.
  6. Pin/bookmark important moments.
  7. Search within the timeline.
  8. Export timeline summaries to Markdown, Word, or PDF.

This would be especially valuable for academic research, complex coding tasks, long debugging sessions, document generation, and multi-step planning. It would make Codex feel much easier to use for serious long-form work and would significantly improve user productivity.
