100% can confirm this.

VS Code Insiders > 3 seconds.
Codex App > 3-50 minutes.

For a simple get-command.

Audited the logs, powershell etc. Powershell returns the same command in miliseconds, but Codex App is entirely dead at the moment. Something is seriously broken in the harnesses and it's torpedoed most of the week as initially the assumption was due to problems in the compute/load. Our repo is large but extensively clean/well-maintained and architecturally split into modules; Codex took 3.5 hours to write a plan for a simple revision on helpers in a single folder on 5.5 medium.

2.5 hours to audit files for migrations and write an MD. 15 files. 1 MD. 5.5 on low.

Total waste of money and time. Our business just got Codex licenses and no one is using it because reading a simple MD file takes up to an hour.
