Codex App cannot find Connections in Settings

Resolved 💬 1 comment Opened Jun 5, 2026 by hharryz Closed Jun 6, 2026

What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

26.602.30954

What subscription do you have?

Plus

What platform is your computer?

Darwin 24.5.0 arm64 arm

What issue are you seeing?

The documentation at https://developers.openai.com/codex/remote-connections#connect-to-an-ssh-host states that users can connect to an SSH host via Settings > Connections.

However, after updating the app, this panel no longer appears in my UI. It used to be available before the update.

Interestingly, I can still access projects that were previously connected on a remote SSH host, which suggests that the underlying remote connection functionality may still be working. However, I can no longer add or remove SSH hosts, nor can I add new remote projects.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Potentially an UI issue.

What is the expected behavior?

There should exist Settings > Connections.
