Hi,

I just updated the Codex app on Windows to 26.602.40724, and I got _"You’re out of Codex messages. Your rate limit resets on Jun 11, 2026, 2:26 AM. To continue using Codex, add credits or upgrade to Pro today"_.

I had more than 70% today and never uses more than 10-15% a day... what happened?!

This happened to me too yesterday at around noon. I had more than 50% of my week's token's left and then they all disappeared and haven't come back. Strangely enough, it now always says I have 99% of my 5h token's left and 0% of my week's tokens. Basically, the Codex desktop app stole half a week of my work, worth way more than half the tokens themselves. I keep hoping that they magically reappear, as they should (at 100% for the bad time) but I know that they won't and that no one will ever read this that could do anything about it.

I actually closed my original thread because I noticed something that might explain what happened in my case. The issue appeared exactly when my subscription renewed overnight and I downgraded from the Pro plan to the Plus plan.

Before that, I still had a significant portion of my weekly Codex quota remaining. The next morning, it had suddenly dropped to 0%, making Codex unavailable until the next reset date.

I don't know whether this is the intended behavior or a bug, but it seems suspicious that the quota disappeared at the exact moment the subscription changed. In any case, I had just paid for another month of service, so it doesn't seem normal that my weekly Codex allowance would immediately become unavailable.
