Need a way to select specific Codex desktop versions

What variant of Codex are you using?

What feature would you like to see?
It is kind of unacceptable to be paying $100/mo and have an update suddenly break the app with no way to rollback the app version.
I'm not sure about OSX, but on Windows the Windows App Store manages and automatically updates Codex, which is great and all, until something is pushed that breaks your WSL2 integration, and Codex can no longer read and edit any files.
Allowing users to install specific Codex versions would give users a way to mitigate this.
