Codex Desktop on Windows 10: cannot quit from tray icon and maximize does not fill screen

What issue are you seeing?

I am seeing two issues with Codex Desktop on Windows 10.

1. Cannot quit Codex from the system tray

Steps to reproduce:

• Start Codex Desktop on Windows.
• Look for the Codex icon in the Windows system tray / notification area.
• Right-click the tray icon.
• Try to find an Exit/Quit option.

Expected result:
The tray icon should expose a context menu with a clear Exit/Quit command, or another reliable way to fully close the application.

Actual result:
Right-click does not show a useful context menu. Left-click opens only the small Codex prompt popup. In some cases the main app cannot be reopened from there. The only reliable workaround is to terminate Codex processes from Windows Task Manager.

1. Maximize button does not maximize the app correctly

Steps to reproduce:

• Open the Codex Desktop app.
• Click the maximize button in the top-right window controls.

Expected result:
The Codex window should fill the available screen area, respecting the Windows taskbar.

Actual result:
The window becomes large but does not actually fill the screen. A large strip of the desktop remains visible on the left side, and the app appears offset/misaligned instead of properly maximized.

I noticed there are already related Windows maximization/rendering issues such as #25160, #25217, and #25513. I am including it here because it happens together with the tray/app lifecycle problem on my Windows 10 setup.

Impact:
This makes the desktop app feel unreliable on Windows 10. The quit issue is especially serious because users need a normal way to close the app without using Task Manager.

• the Codex tray icon,
• the left-click tray popup,
• the broken maximized window state.
