Why does OpenAI refuse to acknowledge that its models are degraded?

There is severe degradation of model capability at all levels. 5.5, 5.4, Low, X-High. The first comment on this issue will be the OpenAI bot showing you other recent similar complaints. This is a known, widespread issue.

It's been over two weeks of "You're right, I overcorrected.", complete misunderstanding of intent, it's overeager to make changes without understanding anything.

And OpenAI continues to insult its paying users by pretending everything is fine and ignoring everyone except enterprise customers.

It is not fine.
