Add built in checkpoints

What feature would you like to see?

The only reason I haven’t switched from Cursor to Codex is the lack of built-in checkpoints. Being able to tell an agent to make changes, see how it turns out, and instantly restore everything back to exactly how it was before with one click is easily the most valuable feature in Cursor for me. It makes me way more comfortable letting the agent take bigger swings because there’s always a safety net if something goes wrong. Without checkpoints, every task feels riskier than it needs to be. I genuinely think this would be one of the best features you could add, and it would save users from bad implementations, accidental deletions, and a lot of wasted time trying to manually undo changes.
