Profile “Longest task” stat does not update after a longer task appears in the task history

Summary

The Profile page’s Longest task statistic does not appear to update correctly after a longer task exists in the conversation history.

In my task history, I have a task showing:

Worked for 6h 54m 37s

However, the Profile page still shows:

Longest task: 6h 29m

This means the Profile statistic is stale or not correctly synced with the actual longest task shown in the app.

Observed behavior

• A Codex task page shows a duration of about 6h 54m 37s.
• The Profile page still reports Longest task as 6h 29m.
• Opening the Profile page does not immediately reflect the longer task.
• The profile statistic appears not to refresh or not to count the longer task correctly.

Expected behavior

If a task duration exceeds the previous longest task, the Profile page should update the Longest task value accordingly.

For example, if the task history shows a task that worked for 6h 54m 37s, then the Profile page should show a longest task value around 6h 54m, not the older 6h 29m.

Actual behavior

The Profile page still shows the older 6h 29m value even though a longer task appears in the conversation history.

Why this matters

The Profile page is where users check their Codex activity and statistics. If the Longest task value is stale or incorrect, users cannot trust the accuracy of the profile stats.

This is especially important for heavy Codex users who monitor task duration, token usage, streaks, and activity history.

Request

Please fix the Profile statistics refresh/sync logic so that Longest task updates correctly after a longer task is recorded.

If the statistic is intentionally delayed or only updated periodically, please show a last updated timestamp or explain the refresh behavior in the UI.
