Could you please advise how to collect more detailed crash information or whether this is a known issue with version 26.609.3341.0?
What steps can reproduce the bug?
Install Codex Windows app from the Microsoft Store.
Launch Codex from the Start menu or from the ChatGPT web Codex entry.
Codex.exe appears in Task Manager for about 1-2 seconds.
The app exits immediately without showing any window or error dialog.
No code snippet is required because the crash happens before any session or project can be opened.
Session ID: Not available. The app crashes before a session starts.
Token limit/context usage: Not applicable. The app crashes during application startup.
What is the expected behavior?
The Codex Windows app should open normally and show the login/workspace screen instead of exiting immediately after launch.
