Sidebar flickers and changes color/transparency when opening other apps

What issue are you seeing?

When opening or switching to other apps, the sidebar briefly flickers. During this flicker, its color and transparency appear to change unexpectedly.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Open the app.
Keep the sidebar visible.
Open or switch to another app.
Observe the sidebar flickering or changing color/transparency.

Especially when MS Edge is opened behind Codex and i open and close VS Code. Doesnt happen every time though

What is the expected behavior?

The sidebar should remain visually stable.
