Every time I launch a side thread with /side while a main thread is running, the side thread disconnects and Codex falls back from WebSockets to HTTPS transport.

- Start Codex CLI in a normal main thread.
- Ask the main thread to do a task that keeps running.
- While the main thread is still running, launch a side thread with
/side. - Observe that the side thread disconnects with the WebSocket fallback error.
What is the expected behavior?
Launching a side thread with /side should not disconnect the stream while the main thread is running. Both the main thread and side thread should continue normally, or the CLI should clearly report if concurrent side threads are unsupported.
