Default repository branch stuck on the wrong branch

What steps can reproduce the bug?
Navigate to https://chatgpt.com/codex. Login if needed.
Look at the repository branch preselected under the chat box.
What is the expected behavior?
On page open the branch selected should either be the default repository branch or the last selected branch.
What do you see instead?
The selected branch is always beta.

I'm not sure if this is because it is the first branch in the list, or because at one point this was the default branch for the repository. There doesn't seem to be a way to set a default manually anywhere though or reset cached github info if that is the issue.
