What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

Codex Mac App, Version 26.609.41114 • Released Jun 13, 2026

What subscription do you have?

Enterprise

What platform is your computer?

Host: Darwin 25.5.0 arm64 arm, Remote: Linux 5.15.0-177-generic x86_64 x86_64

What issue are you seeing?

<img width="794" height="318" alt="Image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/9bc947da-b335-4d4b-885e-a15ea5b126af" />

I see this screen, and there is no "New worktree" or "Work locally" dropdown.

I found several similar issues, but they are saying codex always works locally. But in my case, Codex always creates a new worktree automatically.

The only way to make Codex work in the local repository is to click "Work locally" while the worktree is being created. After that, there is no way to switch from the newly created worktree back to the local repository.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

1) Connect to remote server
2) Open/Create a workspace in there
3) Then you can see no dropdown there.

What is the expected behavior?

We must have a dropdown there and be able to select between local / new worktree / cloud.
