Codex Windows App shows conversations of other users in search history

I used Codex from Visual Studio Code being signed as user A.
Then I downloaded Codex Windows App and signed as user B.
This Codex shows clean slate, no past conversations, but if you click on Search (Ctrl + G) button, it suggests past Codex conversations of another user (User A) and successfully opens them.
What steps can reproduce the bug?

What is the expected behavior?
Chat history should only be available to signed users correspondingly.
Or at least it shoudln't appear as easily as just being suggested in the search box.

Not as severe as it looks.
Both of your user's session chats are stored on your device. I haven't looked at the code, but from past experiences it seems it keeps sessions from different profiles/platforms (here codex app and vsc) separate and selectively visible. Though both are stored in the same device's ~/.codex/ directory. Just a minor search scope bug, not an auth bug as the tag suggests.
Codex is presented as a chat app. Other popular chat apps hide local messages at least to some extent, making casual search harder. Codex chats are as much sensitive. In general, it's not expected that chat history is stored on device in clear text, and not downloaded online from backend servers, with auth protection in place, like the experience you have with online chatgpt/codex, although I understand other chat apps do almost the same (though better, like i said).
Anyway, it's still not nice that Codex app happily pushes another user's history in the face suddenly, when you're doing a screenshare on a call, for example, leaving no chance to keep it unrevealed, which is otherwise possible by not exposing ~/.codex/ contents manually at least.
