What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?
Codex 149.0.7827.54
What subscription do you have?

What issue are you seeing?
it trys to update itself twice in the last maybe 10 min. After pressing update, it fails and reads a contact developer message. Nothing too edge-casey about my setup.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
clicking update, external use of Codex, open for too long, software not updated to current. I clicked it normally, restarted the laptop, and checked for new updates, but still. But I would say I have been using it alot but thats probreby not the issue, huh.
What is the expected behavior?
An updated version of codex.

The updater later reported that installation succeeded and no update
remained pending after restart. However, codesign verification still fails:
codesign --verify --deep --strict /Applications/Codex.app
/Applications/Codex.app: invalid signature (code or signature have been modified)
Installed version: 26.609.41114 (3888)
Have the exact same problem. Once I log out, I'm unable to log back in.

###Update 30 min later codex updated without me pressing update and now it says it is up to date. In my applications folder, it reads "Codex 149.0.7827.54 (matching)". Looking to find the latest update version. (Note would be helpful if future updates have version numbers)
About a few hours earlier, it updated correctly to the new Codex app149.0.7827.54.
