Hi Team,
Please consider adding AI LOC (Lines of Code) metrics to the OTEL metrics emitted by all Codex variants (CLI, Web, and IDE extensions): https://developers.openai.com/codex/config-advanced#otel-metrics-emitted.
The metric should capture the number of lines of code added and removed by AI. Similar functionality is already available in other coding assistants, such as Claude Code and Gemini CLI, and would help provide better visibility into AI-assisted development activity in our org.
