What is the expected behavior?
The Up/Down arrow keys should move the active selection in the mentions menu, and Enter should insert/select the highlighted item.
Additional information
Workaround / Additional confirmation:
After running:
codex features disable mentions_v2and restarting Codex, the @ file mention menu works normally again. I can navigate the file list with the Up/Down arrow keys and select files as expected.
This suggests the issue is specific to the new mentions_v2 / unified mentions menu introduced in v0.140.0, rather than a terminal or keyboard environment problem.
Another Workaround / Additional confirmation:
After switching to ghostty or iTerm, both work fine — I can use @ and the arrow keys to navigate and choose the file or directory I want.
