Codex lost all chat history. Won't save settings. 26.609.71450

Windows (WSL2)

What issue are you seeing?

Lost all chat history. Projects are there, but have empty chats. I can't change any settings. When I open settings up and attempt to set them back to WSL2, the Codex says I need to restart, and when I do, all the settings have reset back to factory. This happened when updating to Version 26.609.41114 and persists when upgrading to Version 26.609.71450

Codex freezes for about a minute when trying to change the Agent Environment setting, it doesn't freeze for any other setting, even though none are changed when Codex is restarted.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, running with admin rights, nothing works.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Install latest version. Attempt to change a setting.

What is the expected behavior?

Codex should actually work

Give us a way to set our version. Release the binaries on github so we can install them ourselves, as mentioned in: https://github.com/openai/codex/issues/26914
