ChatGPT codex on Android does not allow selecting projects

What issue are you seeing?

I have several Codex projects on my Mac. On my iPhone I can select the project that I want to work on but on my Android phone and tablet I dont see that option. To open a project, I need to open it with ChatGPT on my iPhone first then after that I can see the project on my ChatGPT app on my Android phone/tablet.

As can be seen here, there is no way to select a certain project on my remote codex.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Fresh Android data point on 1.2026.230 against current macOS Desktop 26.820.60940: the host's authoritative project/list returns the saved Git project and exact root, while Android still presents the generic project state and starts down the projectless generated-directory path. Existing project threads are visible and controllable, so pairing and host project state are healthy. Cache/data clear plus a new Remote pairing did not refresh the catalog. This is consistent with Android not consuming the host's complete saved-project inventory for New Chat.
