What version of the Codex App are you using (From “About Codex” dialog)?

Version 26.611.61753 • Released 17 juin 2026

What subscription do you have?

23 EURO FROM TODAY

What platform is your computer?

WINDOWS

What issue are you seeing?

Bonjour,

19 h 54

A travaillé pendant 2m 7s

19 h 59

A travaillé pendant 1m 50s

preventDefault() sur le glisser vertical

20 h 03

A travaillé pendant 2m 46s

Tu avais raison.
J’ai ajouté un drapeau propre : state.mainRtfDocument.
Vérification : node --check app.js OK.

20 h 06

20 h 10

A travaillé pendant 4m 17s

profil texte sauvegardé dans les projets/autosave ;
profil restauré si disponible ;
sinon rescan automatique ;
[app.js](C:/Users/user/Documents/Codex/2026-05-28/src/app.js)
[project-codec.js](C:/Users/user/Documents/Codex/2026-05-28/src/js/project-codec.js)
Vérification OK :
node --check app.js
node --check js\project-codec.js

Hello,
I have just subscribed to the €23 subscription, but I am already blocked after less than 30 minutes of using Codex.
Before, with the €8 subscription, usage seemed more comfortable to me.
Please check immediately whether my subscription is properly activated, whether an abnormal limit is blocking my account, or whether the paid service does not match the advertised usage.
I request either full restoration of access, a clear explanation of the limits applied, or a refund if the subscription does not allow normal use.

on an open document, click-and-drag does not work
also apply the double-click logic there, in addition to click-and-drag

7:54 PM

Worked for 2m 7s

It is fixed.
The blockage came from this: mainRtfEditor covers the document, and I had excluded it from gestures. So on an open document, click-and-drag would not start.
Now:
vertical click-and-drag on the main document works
drag upward → next page
drag downward → previous page
double-click on the upper half of the page → previous page
double-click on the lower half of the page → next page
annotations remain protected: if you touch an annotation, it does not trigger navigation
secondary RTF areas remain protected too
Verification: node --check app.js OK.

7:57 PM

it's not fixed, it gets stuck on the first character and does not move forward

7:59 PM

Worked for 1m 50s

There I fixed the precise cause of the blockage.
The vertical drag on mainRtfEditor was still being handled by the browser as text/caret selection, so it remained stuck on the first character.
I added:
vertical intent detection from 14px
preventDefault() on the vertical drag
stop propagation during this gesture
temporary removal of native text selection
temporary .page-swipe-active class to disable user-select only during the swipe
cleanup on pointerup / pointercancel
So the main document should no longer get stuck on the first character during upward/downward dragging.
Verification: node --check app.js OK.

8:01 PM

you created a main text area above the open page!!

8:03 PM

Worked for 2m 46s

You were right. I had made the main RTF area active above any open PDF. That was a mistake.
It is fixed:
When you open an existing PDF with Open, mainRtfEditor remains hidden.
The PDF page is no longer covered by a large text area.
mainRtfEditor is displayed only for a document created as a writing document, or if a project/restore actually contains main RTF text.
Empty RTF entries no longer cause a main area to be displayed.
The automatic RTF focus has been removed from loadPdf().
I added a clean flag: state.mainRtfDocument.
Verification: node --check app.js OK.

8:06 PM

on opening, it must scan the document and detect the font and formatting, then enable selection on the text

8:10 PM

Worked for 4m 17s

Done.
When a PDF is opened, the application now scans the document text with getTextContent(), detects the dominant profile: font, size, bold, italic, spacing, then automatically enables TexteSélect to allow the text to be selected immediately.
I also connected this to projects/restores:
text profile saved in projects/autosave;
profile restored if available;
otherwise automatic rescan;
no mainRtfEditor is added above an open PDF.
Modified files:
[app.js](C:/Users/user/Documents/Codex/2026-05-28/src/app.js)
[project-codec.js](C:/Users/user/Documents/Codex/2026-05-28/src/js/project-codec.js)
Verification OK:
node --check app.js
node --check js\project-codec.js
I could not display the git diff because git is not recognized in this terminal.
