Plus subscription active, but Codex still shows no credits / usage exhausted after upgrade

What issue are you seeing?

I upgraded from the Free plan to ChatGPT Plus, but Codex still shows that I have reached my usage limit and asks me to upgrade or add credits.

The error message shown in Codex is:

“Ai atins limita de utilizare. Treci la un plan superior sau adaugă credite pentru a continua sau încearcă din nou la 21 iun. 2026, 00:22.”

Before upgrading, I was on the Free plan and had used all available usage/credits. I then upgraded to Plus from my phone because the desktop upgrade flow showed an extra tax/fee. The upgrade appears to be active because the plan page shows Plus as my current plan.

However, on desktop, Codex still behaves as if I am on the exhausted Free plan. It still says I have no usage left and prompts me to upgrade to Plus, even though Plus is already active.

There is also another issue with the reset time. The usage reset time keeps moving forward every minute. For example, it showed a reset time of 19:25, then after one minute it changed to 19:26, then 19:27, and so on. The reset time never actually arrives.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

What is the expected behavior?

Codex should detect that the account now has an active Plus subscription and should allow usage according to the Plus limits.

Additional information

1. Start with a Free plan account.
2. Use all available Codex/free usage until the usage limit is reached.
3. Upgrade the same account to ChatGPT Plus from mobile.
4. Open Codex on desktop.
5. Refresh the page several times.
6. Log out and back in.
7. Open the usage panel / Codex interface.
8. Open the upgrade page.

Actual behavior:
Codex still shows the usage limit error and asks me to upgrade or add credits. The upgrade page shows that Plus is already my current plan. The reset time also keeps moving forward minute by minute instead of staying fixed.

Additional context:

• Upgrade was completed from mobile.
• Issue is visible on desktop.
• Browser: Opera / Chromium-based browser.
• Plan page shows Plus as the current plan.
• I tried refreshing, logging out, and logging back in, but the issue persists.
