What issue are you seeing?

Prior to updating, Codex chat messages displayed the files that were being modified during coding tasks. After updating to version 26.616.51431, this information is no longer visible.

This makes it significantly harder to review changes, understand agent actions, and audit modifications performed during a coding session.

Observed Behavior

Codex performs file edits successfully.
The chat no longer shows which files were edited.
File-level activity visibility appears reduced or absent compared to previous versions.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Launch Codex Desktop 26.616.51431.
Open a coding workspace.
Ask Codex to modify one or more files.
Observe that file edit details are no longer displayed in the chat as they were previously.

What is the expected behavior?

If intentional, a user setting to restore file activity visibility would be helpful.
