I’m using the Codex Mac app. Today, June 23, 2026, I upgraded my subscription from Plus to Pro 5x, but I still received a “model limit reached” warning while the app showed I had about 78% of my 5-hour quota remaining.
What steps can reproduce the bug?
The app warned that the model limit had been reached even though the 5-hour quota indicator still showed 78% remaining.
What is the expected behavior?
After switching to Pro 5x, the app should correctly recognize the new subscription quota and allow usage while quota remains.

I suspect it's because it didn't switch to the pro version's limit after upgrading his subscription.
The difference I see compared to other issues is that the remaining credit limit shows as "pro5x" but it's not actually that limit.

It worked when I said "continue"(in this picture it's the contine in chinese), but it greatly affected usability.
