automação documental/local legítima;
geração de índices e metadados;
análise historiográfica de projeto;
workflows de organização de conhecimento;

Obrigado.

English translation:

Hello, team.

I am filing this report because I encountered a possible false positive or excessive caution in a local workflow using Codex.

The context is an independent project for document organization and development history analysis. The activity in question consists of mapping local files, generating metadata, separating information into blocks, and creating a support structure for later consultation by LLMs. The goal is to reduce context overload, improve traceability, and avoid loss of continuity in long projects.

At a certain point, Codex began interrupting or blocking the continuation of the work due to a possible interpretation of cybersecurity risk. From what I was able to observe, the block seems to have been triggered by technical terms such as “automation,” “agent,” “metadata,” “mapping,” “graph,” “local reading,” or references to context organization. However, the workflow does not involve exploitation of systems, third-party access, credentials, security evasion, improper scraping, malware, vulnerabilities, or any offensive action.

The practical case is simple: there is a set of documents and local records from the project itself, and the goal is only to build an index/metamap to better understand the evolution of the work, compare versions, organize decisions, and prepare future planning stages. In other words, it is a documentation, internal audit, and knowledge-structuring task.

The problem is that the preventive block prevents even low-risk operations, such as listing candidate directories, recording metadata, classifying files by topic, or producing inventory reports. This makes it difficult to use Codex in long projects, where context organization and historical reconstruction are an essential part of the work.

I would like to request a review of this behavior or guidance on how to structure this type of workflow to avoid false positives. It would be useful to have a clear way to differentiate:

legitimate document/local automation;
generation of indexes and metadata;
historiographical project analysis;
knowledge organization workflows;

from workflows that are actually related to security risk.

I am not requesting the removal of security protections. The intention is only to understand how to correctly describe and execute this type of legitimate task without it being interpreted as offensive activity.

Thank you.
