Every newly created Codex conversation appears to time out on the first request and then reconnects repeatedly, often reaching “正在重新连接 5/5”. The response may eventually appear, but the UI still shows reconnect status.

What issue are you seeing?

Observed behavior:

• Open a new Codex thread.
• Send a very small first message, e.g. “hi”.
• The request shows “request timed out” / “正在重新连接”.
• In the attached screenshot, it reached “正在重新连接 5/5”.
• The model reply appeared: “Hi! What are we making or untangling today?”
• The UI also showed “已处理 0s”, which looks inconsistent with the reconnect timeout.

Expected behavior:
A new thread should respond normally without repeated timeout/reconnect, especially for a one-word first message.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

Open a new Codex thread.
