When creating a new session, Codex App freezes or becomes unresponsive for about 2-3 seconds when I type the first character into the composer.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

1. Open Codex App.
2. Create a new session.
3. Click into the message composer.
4. Type the first character.

What is the expected behavior?

The first character should appear immediately, and the composer should remain responsive.
