What steps can reproduce the bug?

"@" " \" and a bunch of special characters can't be typed with AZERTY keyboard. I can't even copy/paste them. I have to switch to ENG keyboard for it to work.
update : easy to fix using WSL instead of windows teminal

Yes, same with { } [ ] # | which are all quite important. Am also on azerty.

It not a real fix but in the settings we can Add a keyboard to choose a different keyboard layout. Some of them are working even without switching languages.

Same issue with German QWERTZ. To get an @ one has to [Right Alt] + [q].
