Codex fuzzy file search no longer matches collapsed path abbreviations.
Before:
booapp matched bootstrap/app.php
Now:
booapp does not match.
I must type boo/app instead.
Expected:
Fuzzy file search should match collapsed path segments like before.
What steps can reproduce the bug?

any updates about this it used to be working normally until couple of the latest update @openai
2 weeks passed and still no updates 😳
a lot of updates but still not fixed, the issue appear with the top layer folders project_folder/bootstrap/first_level_folder/second_level_folder to reach to first level folder i have to type boo/first_level to reach to second level i can type boo/secon --> it also reach to it normally
Codex fuzzy file search does not correctly match a folder located directly
inside a top-level project directory.
Example structure:
project_folder/
└── bootstrap/
└── first_level_folder/
└── second_level_folder/
Current behavior:
bootstrap/first_level_folder
boo/first_level
However, fuzzy matching works correctly for the deeper folder:
bootstrap/first_level_folder/second_level_folder
Expected behavior:
Searching "boofirst" should find:
bootstrap/first_level_folder
The fuzzy matcher appears to handle deeper descendants correctly, but not
folders directly below a top-level directory.
