Computer Use and the Chrome plugin both fail before any browser is launched.
Codex version: 26.623.61825
Subscription: ChatGPT Plus
OS: Windows 11 Home Single Language 25H2, x64
CPU: Intel Core i3-1115G4
RAM: 8 GB
The error happens before opening any browser, including Google.
Error:
windows sandbox failed:
helper_unknown_error: setup_refresh had errors
When testing the Chrome plugin, Codex reported that the failure occurs before connecting to Chrome because the node_repl component cannot start due to the sandbox initialization failure.
Chrome extension is installed and enabled.
Virtual Machine Platform is enabled.
Windows Hypervisor Platform is enabled.

What is the expected behavior?
- Open Codex on Windows 11 Home Single Language 25H2.
- Try to use Computer Use to open https://www.google.com.
- The browser does not open.
- Try to use the Chrome plugin without Computer Use.
- The Chrome plugin also fails before connecting to Chrome.
Error shown:
windows sandbox failed:
helper_unknown_error: setup_refresh had errors
Codex also reported that node_repl cannot start because the Windows sandbox setup fails.

Additional information
Computer Use should start a browser session and open Google.
The Chrome plugin should connect to Chrome and execute browser actions without failing during sandbox initialization.
