What steps can reproduce the bug?
- Use Codex in "Ask for approval" mode.
- Wait for Codex to elevate a permission request.
What is the expected behavior?
I can see the command prefix that Codex offers to whitelist.
Additional information
I've seen this in the app on two different macOS machines, and (I think) in the VS Code extension, as well.
This has happened consistently across multiple recent Codex app versions for the past several days.

The whitelisted prefix is the most security-relevant part of this prompt, so it should never lose layout priority. Put the action and exact prefix on separate lines, preserve both beginning and end when compacting, and offer a keyboard-accessible expansion plus copy. More importantly, persist the full normalized prefix in the approval event so the UI can be compared with what the runtime grants. Snapshot tests should cover narrow windows, large fonts, localization, long paths, and shell quoting.
