Codex App project sort setting does not persist after selecting Recently updated

What issue are you seeing?

In the Codex Windows app, the project sidebar sort option does not persist.

When I open the project sidebar menu, go to Sort condition, and select "Recently updated", the selection appears to work temporarily. However, when I open the menu again, the selected option has reverted back to "Manual sort".

This makes it difficult to keep projects ordered by the latest conversation or activity time.

What steps can reproduce the bug?

What is the expected behavior?

After selecting "Recently updated", the Codex app should keep that sort option selected and continue sorting projects by their most recent activity or latest conversation time.

Additional information

The issue was observed on the Windows Codex app. The setting appears to reset immediately when reopening the menu, rather than being persisted as a user preference.
